The Box Works, Castlefield, Manchester

To meet the legal requirements of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, building owners and occupiers must ensure that the fire compartmentalisation in their buildings is robust and being adequately managed and maintained.  If there is uncertainty of the fire stopping provision, a discreet yet thorough inspection should be undertaken to determine the building’s compliance

At The Box Works, rope access to IRATA standards was installed to enable full access to the required building elevations.  Facade panels were removed in order to expose the cavity and enable inspection of the fire stopping provision.  Once the required inspection data had been gathered, the facade panels were replaced with attention being made to ensure that the panels were securely refastened and weatherproof.

DeltaReach (Specialist Services) offer a range of Compliance Survey methods of access tailored to the client’s unique circumstance and priorities.
